Scanning of the Cadastral Survey Records village wise from the books supplied in various sizes. Indexing the scanned images and archiving them in a suitable RDBMS database and this will linked to Bhoomi Project of E-Governance. which facilitates quick retrieval. Reducing the noise in the scanned images using the noise reduction algorithms. The above step results in a legible Printout, which would be generated using a laser printer. Printing images with legibility of the data as per the sizes specified in the tender. Hard Binding of the printed images as per the original books after approval. Submission of the Data (CD-ROM/DVD), Hardcopy and if any required during the course of the project.

Macro Approach: We would approach the project in the following manner, After establishing the infrastructure and deploying the manpower the following methodology will be adopted, Collect the data Village wise from the concerned officials for Scanning, Maintain the record of receipt of total books. Prepare a work sheet for allotment of the documents for scanning. Allotting one village book to one operator for scanning based on the type of scan to be acquired (A3/A4). Start the process of scanning with responsibility to handle the documents very carefully

Macro Process Defined: Each document would undergo the following process, Sorting, Cleaning, Scan, Crop, Tilt (For proper Alignment), Indexing and saving of the scanned document. Quality Enhancement which would include adjustment of (Brightness, Contrast, Hue) Color Saturation for mono color scan, Histogram adjustment function Print and verify the quality of hardcopy with the original.
